About Me
- Becky Kidner
- I have a fine art degree from Kingston University (Graduated in 2008)... As part of my degree I studied in America (Grand Rapids, Michigan) for 4 months, which is pretty much the best thing I've ever done!... I'm a good volunteer egg, I work at the Hyde Park Picture House every other Saturday (It's an awesome art house cinema in Leeds, and I get to watch the movies for free!)I do some volunteering for the Saltaire Arts Trail too, and this year volunteered at Thought Bubble which I loved!...I have a day job as an Administrator at the University of Leeds... My main artistic practice is my ongoing 'Diary Drawing' project which I have been doing since September 2007, the back catalogue has been uploaded onto this blog now, so please do have a peruse!... I have recently started to get my work out there, doing art markets, pop up shops & an Artist Book & Zine Fair... I also now take commissions for people's birthdays etc which is really taking off!...
